Overview
The X - Follow task in Stiqy helps engage your audience by rewarding users for following a specific Twitter (X) account. This feature is ideal for campaigns that aim to grow social media followers and drive community engagement.
How to Configure an X - Follow Task
Step 1: Access the Task Creation Panel
Navigate to Campaigns:
Log in to your Stiqy Admin dashboard.
Navigate to Campaigns from the left-hand menu.
Select the campaign you want to add the task to, or create a new campaign.
Open the "Tasks" Tab: Click the Tasks tab in the top horizontal menu.
Create a New Task: Click the Create New Task button at the top right of the screen.
Step 2: Create the X - Follow Task
In the "Task Types" panel, choose X - Follow under the "Social Tasks" section.
Click Continue to proceed to the task configuration panel.
Step 3: Configure Task Details
Required Fields:
Name: Enter a descriptive title for the task (e.g., "Follow @Pizzaandbeer").
Points: Specify the number of points participants will earn for completing this task.
Twitter Handle: Enter the Twitter handle users need to follow, without the @ symbol (e.g., "Avocadoguild").
CTA Button URL: This will be auto-filled with the Twitter Handle you provided.
Optional Fields:
Description: Provide details about the task to guide participants.
Gems: Add any additional rewards in gems, if preferred.
Start Date and End Date: Set the time frame during which the task will be active.
Enable the Sync with Campaign Dates toggle to align the task dates with the campaign dates.
Label: Select an existing label or create a new label to categorize this task.
Step 4: Save the Task
Review the details you entered.
Click the Create Task button to finalize your task.
The task will now appear in the Tasks list on your panel.
Troubleshooting Tips
Participants reporting an error with the CTA button.
Ensure the Twitter handle is entered correctly and is reflected correctly in the CTA button URL.
Task Not Showing in the Campaign Page.
Verify that the task is active and the timeline settings are correct.
