Points & Gems
Overview
Points and Gems are two currencies used in Stiqy, through which you can engage you can engage your communities and reward participation. Users can earn Points and Gems by completing tasks, which in turn enable users to climb leaderboards and participate in exciting activities like lucky draws.
Points (Mandatory): Accumulate Points to rise on the Leaderboard and showcase your activity level.
Gems (Optional): Convert Gems into tickets to enter Lucky Draws and win rewards.
Tip: While Points are the primary incentive, you can use Gems as additional rewards to further motivate users. Since Gems can be used as entry tickets for Lucky Draws, it is ideal to assign them to high-priority tasks that you want to encourage more participation in.
Configuring Tasks with Points and Gems
Step 1: Access the Campaign Dashboard
Log in to your Stiqy admin account.
Navigate to the Campaigns section in the left-hand menu.
Select the campaign where you want to create a new task or edit an existing one.
Note: Points and Gems allocated to each task can be edited even after the task has been created.
Step 2: Go to the Task Configuration Panel
Create a new task or click Edit Task Details (note icon with a pencil).
The Task Configuration Panel will appear.
Step 3: Define Points and Gems
Locate the Points and Gems fields in the panel.
Add or edit the number of Points and optional Gems:
Points: Assign the number of Points users will earn for completing the task (e.g., 20)
Gems: Specify how many Gems users will earn (e.g., 1)
Step 4: Save the Task
Click Create Task to save your Points and Gems allocation for the task.
For creating a new task, you also need to complete other mandatory fields (e.g., Name, CTA Button URL).

Use Cases
Leaderboard Engagement
An admin can create tasks such as "Share Our Campaign on Social Media" or "Mint our NFT" and assign Points.
Users completing these tasks accumulate Points to climb higher on the Leaderboard, fostering competition and community activity.
Lucky Draw Participation
Create tasks that reward not only Points but also Gems. Users can convert Gems into tickets to enter lucky draws for prizes. For instance:
Task: "Hold 100 $XYD Tokens"
Reward: 50 Points / 3 Gems
Users can then use these Gems to participate in draws via the Lucky Draw page on the user portal.
Troubleshooting Tips
Users Report Missing Points or Gems
Check Task Configuration: Ensure tasks have Points and Gems correctly assigned.
Confirm Task Completion: Verify if the user completed all required steps for the task.
Users Can’t Access the Lucky Draw
Gems Availability: Confirm users have enough Gems to convert into tickets.
Draw Date: Verify the draw is active and within the scheduled timeframe.
Tips for Allocating Points & Gems
Balance Point Distribution
Allocate Points proportionate to the complexity and effort required to complete a task.
For example:
Simple tasks (e.g., following a social media account): 5–10 Points
Advanced tasks (e.g., submitting user-generated content): 20–50 Points
Use Gems Strategically
Assign Gems to high-priority or time-sensitive tasks to encourage quicker participation.
For example:
Tasks with limited time offers can have 1–2 Gems as a bonus reward.
Tasks aimed at user engagement in your core initiatives (e.g., NFT Minting) can include higher Gems to attract attention.
