Streaks

The Streaks feature allows you to create a reward system that encourages users to check in for consecutive days. It serves as a retention mechanism, rewarding users with Gems upon reaching a designated streak length.

NOTE: The Streaks system is applied at the community level and is not campaign-specific.


How to Configure Streak Rewards

1. Accessing the Streak Rewards Panel

  • Go to your Stiqy admin dashboard.

  • In the left-hand menu, select Streaks.

  • You can see an option to Create New Streak Reward.

2. Creating a New Streak Reward

  • Click the Create New Streak Reward button.

  • A pop-up form will appear, requiring the following details:

    • Streak Length: The number of consecutive days users must check in to earn a reward.

    • Gems: The number of Gems rewarded upon reaching the streak length.

  • Click Create to save the new streak reward.

  • The new streak will now appear in the Streaks table.

3. Editing or Deleting a Streak Reward

  • To edit a streak reward, click the pencil (edit) icon next to an existing reward and modify the streak length or gem amount.

  • To delete a streak reward, click the trash bin icon and confirm deletion.


End-User View

  • The Streak icon is displayed in the top horizontal bar, showing the user's current streak count.

  • Clicking the Streak icon opens a calendar-style interface, displaying the streak status and the Gem rewards users can earn upon reaching each streak length.

  • Users can maintain their streak by clicking the Check in button daily.


Use Cases

1. Encouraging Daily Engagement

  • Streaks introduce a gamification element and help incentivize users' daily engagement, encouraging them to return to your community/campaign every day.

2. Strategically Setting Up Multiple Streak Rewards

  • You can set up multiple streak rewards in your community, allowing you to assign different Gem rewards based on the streak length.

  • Increasing the number of reward Gems for longer streaks helps motivate users to participate consistently and remain engaged over time.

3. Rewarding Dedicated Users

  • Users who earn extra Gems for completing streaks gain additional advantages, as they can redeem Gems to enter Lucky Draws or purchase items in the Shop.


Troubleshooting Tips

  • Users Are Not Receiving Gems

    • Ensure the streak reward is correctly configured with both streak length and Gems assigned.

    • Check if the user missed a day in their streak.

  • Users Report Inaccurate Streak Tracking

    • Confirm that the user is checking in at the correct time each day.
