Telegram Task - Join Group/Channel
The Join My Telegram Group/Channel task allows you to confirm whether users have joined your Telegram groups or channels. This task helps acquire new members to your Telegram community and grow your social metrics.
How to Configure a Telegram Task
Step 1: Connect the Stiqy Bot to Your Group/Channel
Add the Stiqy bot (@stiqy_bot) to your Telegram group or channel.
Grant admin rights to the Stiqy bot.
Step 2: Connect Your Telegram Group/Channel in Community Settings
Go to the Settings section from the left-hand menu in your Stiqy admin dashboard.
In the Telegram Community section, enter the name of your Telegram group or channel.
Click the Link button.
Your Telegram community will now be added to the list.
You can add multiple groups or channels by adding the Stiqy bot and linking them in the Settings section.
Step 3: Create a Telegram task in Your Campaign
Go to the Campaigns section from the left-hand menu in your admin dashboard.
Select the campaign where you want to add the task or create a new campaign.
Open the Tasks tab in the top horizontal menu.
Click the Create New Task button at the top-right side.
In the Task Types popup, select Join My Telegram Group/Channel under the Social Tasks category
Click Continue to proceed to task configuration.
Step 4: Configure the Task Details
Required Fields:
Select Telegram Channel: Choose the community you want to verify with the task from the dropdown menu.
Name: Enter a descriptive name for the task (e.g., Join our Telegram group).
Points: Assign the number of points users will earn upon completing the task (e.g., 50).
Channel/Group Link: Paste the URL of your Telegram group or channel.
Optional Fields:
Description: Provide clear instructions or details about the task for users (e.g., Stay tuned for our announcements).
Gems: Set the number of gems users will earn (e.g., 1).
Start & End Date: Specify the task's availability period by entering a start and end date/time.
Toggle the Sync with Campaign Dates option if you want the task to align with the campaign's start and end dates.
Label: Use an existing label or create a new one to categorize the task.
Step 5: Save the Task
Review the details you entered.
Click the Create Task button to finalize your task.
The task will now appear in the Tasks list on your panel.
Troubleshooting Tips
Issue: Telegram Channel Not Found
Ensure that you have correctly added the @stiqy_bot as an "admin" in your Telegram group.
Verify that the group name is entered correctly in Stiqy’s Settings section.
Issue: Users Not Being Verified
Confirm that the users have joined the correct Telegram group.
Ask users to refresh their campaign page or reconnect their Telegram account.
