Verify users who subscribe to a specific YouTube channel

How to Configure an YouTube Channel (Subscribe) Task

Step 1: Navigate to the Campaign Panel.

  1. Log in to your Stiqy admin account.

  2. Navigate to Campaigns from the left-hand menu.

  3. Select the campaign you want to add the task to, or create a new campaign.

Step 2: Start Creating the Task

  1. In the selected campaign, open the Tasks tab in the top horizontal menu.

  2. Click the Create New Task button to initiate the task creation process.

  3. In the "Task Types" panel, choose YouTube Channel (Subscribe) under the "Social Tasks" section.

  4. Click Continue to proceed.

Step 3: Configure Task Details

Required:

  • Name: Enter a clear and concise title for the task (e.g., "Subscribe to our official YouTube channel").

  • Points: Define the number of points users will earn for completing the task (e.g., 50 points).

  • Youtube Channel ID: Paste the unique Channel ID of the YouTube channel.

    • The Channel ID is a string of letters and numbers (e.g., UCfdNM3NAhaBOXCafH7krzrA).

  • Youtube Channel URL: Enter the full public URL of the YouTube channel (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/YourChannelName).

Optional:

  • Icon: If preferred, upload an image to use as a custom icon for the task. (200 x 200px recommended)

    • This field is completely optional. If you don't upload an image, a default icon will be used.

  • Description: Add a brief explanation or instructions for participants (e.g., "Subscribe to get our latest updates and earn 50 points!").

  • Gems: If applicable, specify the number of gems rewarded for this task (e.g., 5).

  • Start Date and End Date: Select the date and time when the task begins and ends.

    • Enable the Sync with Campaign Dates toggle to align the task dates with the campaign dates.

  • Label: Select an existing label or create a new one to categorize your task (e.g. "YouTube", "Social").

  • Promoted Task: Toggle ON to highlight this task and pin it to the top of the task list.

Step 4: Save and Publish the Task

  1. Double-check all the fields for accuracy.

  2. Click "Create Task" to save.

  3. The new task will appear in the Tasks list within your campaign.

Use Case

Example: Drive Subscriptions for a New Channel Launch

  • Task Name: Subscribe to Our New Gaming Channel!

  • Description: "Be one of the first! Subscribe to earn 100 points!"

  • Points: 100

  • Start & End Date: May 22, 2025 to May 29, 2025

  • Youtube Channel ID: UCxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNEW

  • Youtube Channel URL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNEW

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Subscription Not Verifying

    • Ensure that the YouTube Channel ID and YouTube Channel URL are correct and publicly accessible.

    • Ask users to re-log into Stiqy and approve access when prompted to authorize Stiqy’s permissions.

    • Confirm the user connected the same YouTube account they used to subscribe to the channel.

    • Make sure the user is logged into their YouTube account when attempting to subscribe.
