Wallet Connect

Overview

The Wallet Connect task in Stiqy allows you to verify users who have added and connected their wallets to your campaign. This feature is ideal for collecting users' wallet information and curating campaigns that require blockchain-based verification.

How to Configure a Wallet Connect Task

Step 1: Navigate to Campaigns

  1. Log in to your Stiqy Admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Campaigns from the left-hand menu.

  3. Select the campaign you want to add the task to, or create a new campaign.

Step 2: Start Creating the Wallet Connect Task

  1. Open the Tasks tab in the top horizontal menu.

  2. Click the Create New Task button at the top right of the screen.

  3. In the "Task type" panel, select Wallet Connect under the On-Chain Tasks category.

  4. Click Continue to proceed to the task configuration panel.

Step 3: Configure Task Details

Required Fields:

  • Name: Enter a descriptive name for your task (e.g., Connect your wallet).

  • Points: Specify the number of points users will earn upon completing the task (e.g., 20).

Optional Fields:

  • Gems: Assign gems as additional rewards (e.g., 1).

  • Description: Provide clear instructions to users (e.g., "Click My Account at the top right after signing up, and add your wallet.")

  • Start & End Date: Set the date and time when the task will be active.

    • Toggle the Sync with Campaign Dates option if you want the task to automatically align with the campaign's timeline.

  • Label: Use an existing label or create a new one to categorize your task (e.g., "Wallet", "Web3").

  • CTA Button URL: Enter the destination URL to which users will be redirected when they click the button (e.g., https://www.stiqy.io/your-community/account).

    • You may want to use the CTA if you want users to connect the same wallet as they have on another website.

Step 4: Save the Task

  1. Double-check all the task details for accuracy.

  2. Click Create Task to save the task.

  3. Your task will now be visible in the Tasks list.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Connection Issues

    • Ensure that the user has a wallet account and app (e.g., MetaMask) properly installed and set up.

  • CTA Button Not Redirecting

    • Double-check the CTA Button URL for errors.

  • Deadline Passed

    • If the end date has expired, users won’t be able to complete the task. Extend the end date if needed.
