Token Holder From Specific Date (Soft Staking)
Overview
The Token Holder from Specific Date task in Stiqy allows you to verify whether a user’s wallet has held a certain token since a designated date. This enables you to create more customized and detailed tasks for token holders, functioning as a Soft Staking feature.
Unlike the Token Holder Duration task, which requires users to hold a token for a specific duration (e.g., 30 days), this task verifies users who have owned a specific token starting from a particular date (e.g., from 2024-12-20).
How to Configure a Token Holder From Specific Date Task
Step 1: Access the Task Creation Panel
Navigate to Campaigns:
Log in to your Stiqy Admin dashboard.
Navigate to Campaigns from the left-hand menu.
Select the campaign you want to add the task to, or create a new campaign.
Open the "Tasks" Tab: Click the Tasks tab in the top horizontal menu.
Create a New Task: Click the Create New Task button at the top right of the screen.
Step 2: Create the Token Holder From Specific Date Task
In the "Task Types" panel, choose Token Holder From Specific Date under the "On-chain Tasks" section.
Click Continue to proceed to the task configuration panel.
Step 3: Configure Task Details
Required Fields:
Name: Enter a descriptive name for the task (e.g., "Hold 200 XYZ Tokens from TGE)
Points: Specify the number of points users will earn for completing the task.
Token Contract Address: Enter the token’s contract address
This can be copied from the blockchain explorer of your token’s network.
Chain/Network: Select the blockchain network on which the token is deployed.
Currently supported chains: Ethereum, Base, BSC, Polygon.
If your chain is not listed as supported, please contact Stiqy support.
Amount of Tokens Required to be Held: Specify the minimum number of tokens a user must hold to complete the task.
From Date: Enter the date from which the tokens need to be held (e.g., "2024-01-01").
Optional Fields:
Description: Provide a clear description of the task (e.g., "Check if you have held a token from 2024-12-20).
You can refer to and edit the pre-filled text in the description field.
Gems: Assign gems as additional rewards.
Start Date and End Date: Set the date and time when the task begins and end.
Enable the Sync with Campaign Dates toggle to align the task dates with the campaign dates.
Label: Use an existing label or create a new one to categorize your task.
Step 4: Save the Task
Review the details you entered.
Click the Create Task button to finalize your task.
The task will now appear in the Tasks list on your panel.
Use Case
Example: Loyalty Rewards
Reward users who have held your tokens since a specific product launch or milestone.
Identify and celebrate users who have been loyal to your token for an extended period.
Troubleshooting Tips
Users Reporting Verification Issues
Verify that the correct contract address has been entered and that the matching blockchain network is selected.
Ensure users are connecting the correct wallet with the appropriate token balances.
Ensure users have held the appropriate token balance since the date you specified.
Task Not Visible
Check if the task’s start date is set correctly and confirm that the task is active.
