NFT Holder Duration (Soft Staking)
Overview
The NFT Holder Duration task in Stiqy allows you to verify users who hold a specific NFT for a designated number of days. This task can function as a Soft Staking feature, enabling you to reward community members who demonstrate loyalty by holding a particular NFT for a specified period.
This feature is ideal for:
Driving long-term engagement in your community.
Incentivizing NFT ownership and retention.
Building exclusive programs for dedicated members.
How to Configure an NFT Holder Duration Task
Step 1: Access the Task Creation Panel
Navigate to Campaigns:
Log in to your Stiqy Admin dashboard.
Navigate to Campaigns from the left-hand menu.
Select the campaign you want to add the task to, or create a new campaign.
Open the "Tasks" Tab: Click the Tasks tab in the top horizontal menu.
Create a New Task: Click the Create New Task button at the top right of the screen.
Step 2: Create the NFT Holder Duration Task
In the "Task Types" panel, choose NFT Holder Duration under the "On-chain Task" section.
Click Continue to proceed to the task configuration panel.
Step 3: Configure Task Details
Required Fields:
Name: Provide a clear name for the task (e.g., "Hold NFT for 7 Days").
Points: Assign points to incentivize task completion.
NFT Contract Address: Enter the contract address of the NFT to be verified.
You can find this on the blockchain explorer of the NFT’s network.
Chain/Network: Select the blockchain network where the NFT is deployed.
Currently supported chains: Ethereum, Base, BSC, Polygon.
If your chain is not listed as supported, please contact Stiqy support.
Amount of NFTs Required to Be Held: Specify the minimum number of NFTs the user must hold to complete the task (e.g., 1).
Days Required to Be Held: Define the minimum number of days the NFT must be held (e.g., 7).
Optional Fields:
Description: Add a description to explain the task to users. (e.g., "Hold our Champions NFT for 7 days")
Gems: Set a gem value for additional rewards (e.g., 3).
Start Date and End Date: Set the date and time when the task begins and ends.
Toggle the Sync with Campaign Dates option if you want the task to automatically align with the campaign's timeline.
Label: Use an existing label or create a new one to categorize your task (e.g., "NFT", "Web3").
Step 4: Save the Task
Review the details you entered.
Click the Create Task button to finalize your task.
The task will now appear in the Tasks list on your panel.
Use Cases
Example 1. Retention Campaigns
Incentivize NFT holders to retain their assets by offering points for holding an NFT for 14 days or more.
Example 2. NFT Launch Campaigns
Validate long-term interest in a newly launched NFT by requiring users to hold it for a minimum period to qualify for rewards.
Troubleshooting Tips
Wrong NFT Information:
Ensure that the NFT contract address and network information are correct.
Double-check if the NFT is deployed on the selected network.
Task Not Activating:
Confirm that the task dates are set correctly and live.
Verify that all required fields are filled out.
Participants Unable to Complete the Task:
Confirm that participants meet the minimum holding duration and NFT quantity requirements.
Advise users to connect the correct wallet to their Stiqy profile.
